About Sandy

There is a deep sense of peace and joy Sandy experiences when completely surrounded by nature. Wide‑open spaces along with the harmony of color in nature restores her. All the time she has spent hiking, running, paddleboarding or boating—whether in quiet solitude or alongside her three boys always comes through in her paintings.

For two decades, Sandy created portraits and home ink paintings after completing her studies in Drawing and Painting and Marketing at the University of Georgia while spending a semester abroad in Cortona, Italy. In this new season of life, she is gravitating towards painting landscapes and capturing the simple, compelling beauty found in the natural world.
